This petition is aimed at getting signatures to support the release from prison of James “Jimmy” Rosemond. Jimmy was wrongfully convicted with ZERO physical evidence, and ONLY informant testimony that was unsubstantiated. Jimmy was given a LIFE sentence and has served over 13 years in a federal prison. He has been ripped away from his family, friends, community and his three children that miss him dearly. Prior to his unjust arrest Jimmy had overcome many obstacles in his life to achieve impressive success in the music and entertainment management industry.  Jimmy is a proud family man with a record of generosity and community-based philanthropy.

President Biden has the extraordinary power to correct the injustice of a wrongful conviction and show an act of mercy. Jimmy at 58 years old is no threat to society, and instead of lamenting in prison over more than a decade he has kept a close connection to his family and community. Jimmy has also helped other inmates learn to read, receive their GED’s and he has completed over 50+ BOP programs. The overwhelming support that Continues to swell around Jimmy is a testament to the quality of his character, the value that he will offer the community upon his release and the grave injustice caused by his wrongful conviction.
