Consumers of supermarket food are deliberately lied to and secrets are hidden on meat packaging. - Its time to change!

Red meat, poultry and fish come from all over the world and sold in UK supermarkets but where the animals are raised sometimes come from farms abroad that have completely different laws for Animal Welfare; we then do not know how those animals were treated or put onto the shelves at the supermarket.

I have decided to put this petition towards TESCO as they are a supermarket that have proven to listen to their customers and a lot of other big supermarket chains such as Asda, Morrisons, Sainsbury's and Waitrose have followed them. TESCO has a big influence on consumers and other large companies.

RESOLUTION:  To have all fresh and frozen meat products to display (via a small label on packaging) how the animal was killed : ('Captive Bolt shooting', 'gassing', 'electrocution', 'drowning', 'trapping', 'clubbing' or any other "approved" method):

Not only will this stop companies and supermarkets from hiding the truth but it will also allow many consumers to think about the ethics towards eating animal products.
