Over the years we have seen people throw litter and it collect on the streets but I have not seen anything as disgusting as Salford Quays Water!! 

We are being affected by this smell, mess and overall disgusting environment the public has created! 

The ANIMALS, ducks, swans, seaguls, pigeons and fish that live in these waters are affected everyday by this, they have no safe water to eat and drink from and more importantly this is their HOME!  (IMAGINE THIS MESS IN YOUR HOME)

Leaving this the way it is, is unhuman we (The Councils) are wasting so much money on road works, bike lanes ect that shouldn't be are main priority when we can clean up and maintain the issues we already have.

The cost of this is very minimal as NO businesses would be forced to close, no streets or main roads will be forced to close and overall will have no negative impact on the the surrounding residents / businesses or roads. 

The environment, animals, businesses and residents will benefit from this clean up so...

THEY NEED OUR HELP SO ACT NOW and SAVE the environment and save animals lives!!! 

Get the council to do their job or we can do it for them, get volunteers to help - It is time to make Salford Quays back to a place we was once proud to walk through and show off to New members.  Right now I am appalled and I am certainly not proud!
