A restroom is a room with toilets and sinks that is available for public use. A restroom in school is important because it allows students to maintain their personal hygiene, which can affect their health and comfort, and clean restrooms help to prevent the spread of diseases or bacteria. 

One of the problems students experience in schools is the dirty restrooms. Many students still go to the restroom located in the other building. This consumes their time because they have to walk a long distance just to use it. Another issue is that some students don't use the restrooms properly, especially the female students during their menstruation. Often, they don't dispose of their used napkins properly. They leave them uncovered on top of toilets or sometimes on the floor. Because of their improper use, this may be the reason why some janitors avoid cleaning the restrooms again.

Having clean comfort rooms is not just a want but a necessity and basic right of every student. It is essential for a student’s health and welfare in school. Dirty and unmaintained comfort rooms lead to health problems such as germs and bacteria and many students get sick and fail to concentrate on their studies. Ensuring that comfort rooms within schools are clean and hygienic impacts a child’s attendance as well as academic performance positively. A study conducted in the Philippines indicates that schools with higher levels of concentration achieved and attention given to students' grades have good comfort room facilities. Also, students who study in schools with clean comfort rooms are more confident and happy in their studies.This means that maintaining clean comfort rooms is not just a fundamental right, but also an important part of promoting quality education. Therefore, petitioning for clean comfort rooms in schools is a step that should be embraced by parents, teachers, and the students themselves. It is for their own benefit and for the promotion of their health and education.

By addressing the issues of cleanliness and maintenance in the  school's comfort room we should establish a daily cleaning schedule with dedicated staff and janitor responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the comfort rooms not only the staff ang janitors take the charge but also the students who use it, we should be responsible for cleaning it after the uses, like for a simple flash the toilet and putting the trash into the trash bin. In water supply management we should conduct a thorough inspection of the water supply systems to fix  water tanks to ensure a constant supply of water for cleaning and daily use especially during shortages. Moreover, Encourage students to take responsibility for their environment by promoting peer monitoring of cleanliness, for having volunteer groups such as students or student's council, to participate in clean up drives and maintenance activities.

In conclusion, maintaining clean restrooms is important because it affects the students' health and safety. Clean restrooms foster good hygiene practices, reducing the spreading of diseases, and it also create a safe and comfortable environment. By addressing the issues it requires a participant among the students and school staff. Also arranging some daily cleaning schedule, raising awareness about the responsibilities of students, and encouraging them to take responsibility for their environment, we can ensure that the simple basic needs of students like hygiene, safety, and cleanliness will be available to get. Furthermore, this means that maintaining clean comfort rooms is not just a fundamental right, but also an important part of promoting quality education. It can also affect their happiness, comfort, and their ability to focus on class. Because it is a shared responsibility all the people within the school community will benefit.
