This is a petition to create awareness for the water pollution issue. This is a worldwide issue as pollution flows through the ocean all around the Earth.  There is urgency for clean, clear pollution free water. Children, adults, sailors, open water swimmers and kayakers, tourists, tri-athletes' health can be at serious risk for dysentery, bacteria diseases such as vibrio, Crohn's disease, diarrhea, respiratory illnesses and other bacterial infections from swimming in polluted waters.

Cleaning up the waters will bring health benefits, economic benefits, social benefits, all human benefits. There will be no downside to cleaning up the water it is only a great benefit to humanity. This is true about cleaning up the waters around any coastal area which has health and maritime concerns including but not limited to Haiti, Caribbean Islands, Pacific Islands, Japan Harbors, China Sea, India around major cities, NYC areas of east coast of the USA, West coastal areas of the USA such as La Jolla Cove in California, Mid-Atlantic coastal areas such as the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland, and Durban Bay in South Africa as well as really any coastal areas where plastics, pollution, and sewage accumulates.

Swimming in beautiful waters is a true delight.  Swimming is a healthy sport when done in crystal clear waters.  Lets make sure that our oceans and all waterways get clean and stay clean!
