I believe everyone should have access to CLEAN drinking water. We are on stolen land; the least we can do is give access to clean water. Clean water is a basic HUMAN right, yet many Indigenous communities in Canada, including those in Brantford, Ontario, still lack this essential resource. According to Health Canada, as of 2021, there were 36 long-term drinking water advisories affecting Indigenous communities across the country.

This situation is unacceptable and must be addressed immediately. Ensuring that all residents of the Six Nations Reserve have access to safe and clean drinking water is not only a matter of public health but also a step towards justice and reconciliation.
