Stop using Medieval Euthanasia on dogs!

The Issue

More Dogs at Risk of Medieval Euthanasia WED AUG 6: Last night the Clayton County Board of Commissioners voted to allow the animal control staff at Clayton County AC to euthanize companion animals. The commissioners watched with stoney faces while one after another speaker begged them not to do this. Then they voted 4-1 to allow AC to euthanize.
Georgia Dept of Agriculture allows euthanasia by lethal injection, heartstick and interperitoneal (IP). The last is the most likely top be used by an AC staff because it is the easiest -- one person holds the dog up while another injects the dog's stomach. It takes the dog twenty minutes to die a brutal painful agonizing death.
