Petition: Prosecute Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin.
Petition: Prosecute Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin.
The Issue
Petition Background (Preamble):
On the morning of October 4, 2011, Jeremy Irwin called 911 to report his 10 month old daughter, Lisa Renee Irwin, missing. He claimed that she was kidnapped, and three cell phones stolen, while he worked his first ever night shift. He and his girlfriend claimed that their dog, who normally barks at strangers, did not bark that night, that the intruder came in from the front of the house visible from the street, and that the baby had been in her crib since 10:30, which was changed to 6:40 after the police found a receipt for alcohol purchased that afternoon and requested that the family fill in some gaps in their story, and to 4:30 later when asked what the baby was doing while her mother, Deborah Bradley was at the liquor store. This leaves the baby unattended in her crib for nearly 12 hours! Two other sons (one Bradley’s and one Irwin’s) who were aged 5 and 8 at the time, were also left unsupervised and unattended during the 4-5 hours that Deborah Bradley drank and smoked on the front porch. It has since been proven that Jeremy Irwin had one of the “stolen” cell phones with him at work during the time that he provided an alibi for. Deborah Bradley has admitted to taking prescription Effexor that day, and drinking alcohol (5-10 glasses of wine) which is inconsistent with the medications labeling and warnings. She has also admitted that she does this regularly, and that she doesn’t see a problem with it, even though her daughter “disappeared” as a direct result of it.
Lisa deserves justice. Whether she was kidnapped while she was unattended for 12 hours or whether she was killed in a drunken, drugged rage at the hands of her mother, her parents must answer for what happened to her. Lawyering up, hiding from and lying to the media, and lying to the police should not protect them from justice.
