Since my daughter's incident, at least two more accidents have occurred that I'm aware of at this intersection. The most recent being on May 16, 2024 in the morning when a child was walking/biking to school. There has been flashing lights added since 2022 to encourage drivers to slow down for pedestrians, but it is NOT ENOUGH! We need a 4 way stop or traffic light AND crossing guards for the neighborhood that sits between not one, but TWO elementary schools! There should also be a better exit, possibly paving Buggy Whip road for the Charter School traffic for an alternative route out of the neighborhood.
