While Craigslist has banned the pet trade on the site, KSL Classifieds perpetuate it. All of this happens while approximately 4 million dogs and cats get euthanized yearly due to overpopulation. As long as 8 million dogs and cats remain homeless there is no room to support breeders or puppy mills. Worse yet, animals given away for free often suffer an ill fate dogfighting, neglect, and often end up in a shelter again. KSL, instead of supporting animal homelessness remove the "pet and livestock" section from the classifieds and help further the message about the adopting, spaying and neutering.
