Opposition of Preliminary Subdivision Plat Approval S-08-2021

The Issue

The residents of Clover Hills and areas directly affected by the current development on SR 76 in Sango are opposed to the application filed by Bristol Ridge Apartments, LLC. This application is for the approval of a second phase of Clover Glen with intentions to connect two roads from Clover Hills into a mega complex of single family homes and apartments under development in a city annexed portion of Sango.

The residents of this area have voiced opposition of this development bringing increased noice and traffic from 100’s of new residents through our neighborhoods and onto N. Woodson Road and SR 76. It is our intention to stop or table the approval of this application until an alternate plan with NO ACCESS to Karmaflux Way, Lillian Grace Drive, Brownsville Road, and N. Woodson Road is created.

The development of the Belew mega complex has other areas of access such as South Gateway Drive, a road that is already developed with a traffic light, and SR 76 in the City Limits. These locations as entrance/exit access roads will greatly reduce the increased traffic, noise, and congestion in already crowded county roads. It is unknown if any formal road/traffic studies have been done on Karmaflux Way, Lillian Grace Drive, Brownsville Road, N. Woodson Road, or SR 76 to determine the potential risks adding 100’s if not 1000’s of cars onto these roads pose.

It is the hope of these concerned residents that all will be reviewed and considered,  not just the the financial gain to developers and investors, or the tax revenue this project will bring, before approval is made.
