CCSD Give High School Students their Diploma

CCSD Give High School Students their Diploma
The Issue
2020 has shown us all that plans don't always go as we wish and there is one group of children who have taken the brunt of the Covid-19 Pandemic aka Corona Virus Outbreak of 2020, that is the graduating class of 2020.
They were robbed of prom, adequate education, graduations and senior trips and have remained optimistic only to still struggle to the end and be denied a diploma at the finish line. Many students have IEP's and meet other administrative codes that should qualify them for a diploma but are being denied by incompetent faculty, who lack compassion and have dropped the ball long ago.
My name is Cyndi Mitchell, My daughter Anhalice Mitchell-Jordan is a student at Foothill High School that falls into this category and is being denied a diploma
NAC 390.450a States that a pupil who transfers to a Nevada high school from another school, whether located inside or outside this State, shall abide by the requirements for graduation of the receiving school district unless the pupil is in the 12th grade and the requirements of that district would not allow him or her to graduate by the end of the 12th grade, there are other qualifications that CCSD is not following to insure that students receive their diploma on time. lets do our part to insure that these people do the job that our tax dollars pay them to do.
