On November 2, 2021, former Las Vegas Raider's & NFL player Henry Ruggs was driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding over 150 miles per hour when he slammed into Tina Tintor's vehicle causing it to burst into flames. Despite desperate rescue efforts, 23 year old Tina and her beloved Golden Retriever, Max, both died in the fiery crash.

Ruggs is facing multiple charges related to the DUI death of Ms. Tintor, including felony DUI & reckless driving and a misdemeanor gun charge.  We STRONGLY believe there must also be accountability for Tina's beloved dog, Max, and so we are respectfully demanding that Felony Animal Cruelty charges be filed against Mr. Ruggs for the death of Max.

DA Wolfson has stated several times there's no provision in the law which allows for Felony Animal Cruelty charges.  We disagree. Below are excerpts of Nevada Animal Cruelty definition & statute:

CRUELTY TO ANIMALS

▪︎NRS 574.050  Definitions.  As used in NRS 574.050 to 574.200, inclusive:

We believe our statutes, as listed above, undoubtedly allow for Felony Animal Cruelty charges to be filed.  They should be filed immediately. Our position has been supported by Prosecutors we've spoken to who specialize in filing charges where Animal Cruelty charges are warranted.

Our community is haunted and heartbroken by the horrific crash and death of Ms. Tintor and Max and our hearts and prayers go out to her family and friends who face unimaginable grief.

Many of us travel with our pets. How can there be NO JUSTICE for our pets if they are killed by someone's illegal, selfish & reckless behavior in our vehicle?

Please SIGN & SHARE this PETITION help us get Justice for Tina And Max. You can also email District Attorney Wolfson directly and request maximum Penalties for Tina & Max's deaths.  Email: DAInfo@ClarkCountyDA.com
