Why this petition matters

Started by Christina Fulton

Gary Sproul, retired teacher and School Board Vice President at Clarion Limestone School District, and Josh Minich, President of the Clarion County Fair Association Board of Directors, both need to be criminaly charged with reckless endangerment.

You may view Sproul's FB post here: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10217116371887642&id=1419505374

Mr. Sproul's words and Mr. Minich's actions purposefully facilitated the spread of coronavirus this past week during events at the county fair.  Mr. Sproul boasts that of thousands of people attending the fair, 99% of them were maskless. He further said that the fair was held to protest Governor Wolf's pandemic response.

Gary Sproul and Josh Minich publicly and proudly disregard the health and safety precautions of social distancing and personal protection.  They encourage the citizens to ignore state mandates that are based on CDC recommendations.  In doing so, Gary Sproul and Josh Minich created a substantial risk of serious physical injury to another person and they both need to be charged with reckless endangerment.  They acted in a way that showed a disregard for the foreseeable consequences of their actions.

This pandemic is real and they have put thousands of lives in Clarion County at risk.  Their words and actions are irresponsible, negligent and purposefully reckless.   If you feel Mr. Sproul and Mr. Minich should be criminally charged, sign this petition.
