Hi, this is just an update that today Friday 28th August I hand delivered the petition to Clarion's head office in Camden Town, north London: 5th Floor, Greater London House, Hampstead Road, London, NW1 7QX. I will update you on any response received. I had intended to do this a week, or two ago, but I haven't been able to give this quite as much time as I would have liked. In the meantime, I have relied for news on the residents from a community organiser posting updates on social media. Sadly, when I posted the petition to one particular group three weeks ago, a very upset and angry former resident of a tower on High Path Estate thought I was referring to rehousing the fire victims in her tower, and began relating a horror story about her former flat in the tower that sounded like the houses in the photo on the petition at Pincott Road. I had very carefully selected the Pincott Rd houses because I met a former occupant of them who said she and her neighbours didn't want to be moved from them in the first place. This former tower resident got 17 likes attacking the petition and it took a few hours for me to leave work to reply to her comment. This former resident didn't read the petition where I suggested the recently emptied Gilbert Close block, and the houses at the end of Pincott Road by the Trafalgar Pub.  The houses are ear-marked to be a future park, and the next door tower has to be emptied and pulled down for that too, so reusing the houses for a medium period isn't delaying the regneration scheme. I will keep you updated as I say.
