As you all know, I.O.I's contract with CJ E&M will end on 31st January 2017, that is when they'll officially disband and no longer be I.O.I and return back to their trainee status or back to their respective groups, DIA, Gugudan and WJSN.

I for one never knew the impact these 11 girls would have on me. I'm sure I'm not the only one who dreads the day that they disband and will be deeply upset by it and don't want it to come. With this petition I hope to at least make CJ E&M or Mnet reconsider disbanding them. It is evident that the girls do not want to disband themselves either, they are very attached to each other and have been crying during their last fansigns and performances.

It is clear that I.O.I is popular and has so much potential to be a great girl group if they're given the chance to stay as a group. They are very popular and have won the nation's hearts.

A suggestion on what I think is a solution, is for I.O.I to only promote maybe once a year along with the groups they're already in/ are preparing to be in so they can stay together, this way it will benefit all of the companies that they're in financially and keep I.O.I going without overworking them too much and won't force the companies they're already in to give up their artists which is highly unlikely anyway. It will keep fans happy, make it that the girls returning back to trainee status stay in the lime light until they're debuted in another group and mostly importantly mean they don't have to separate in which we all don't want.

Please help us I.O.I fans out! I know how influential the whole Kpop fandom can be when they want to be, let's work together to keep this group together so they can achieve their dreams and remain happy!
