Currently the Town of Greenwich plans to re-build the Eastern Greenwich Civic Center in approximately the same footprint (35,000 sq. ft). We, the undersigned, believe a larger building (60,000+ sq. ft.) would allow for not just the necessary community space, but also a field house including indoor/outdoor turf fields, indoor racket sports, a gymnasium and an ice rink (deemed viable by engineering and environmental studies) would be better for the community at large.
