New london  is unique  because  the city officials  for many years refused to do a citywide garbage  contract.

Survey results  show an impressive number of residents  who want to do a citywide  garbage contract  to lower rates.

People  are paying as much as 240.00 a year  if the city  negotiated  with a garbage  hauler rates could be lower  please join me in this fight 

What's ironic  is town of dale  and Caledonia and hortania which all border new london  all have contracted rates  and yet nothing has been done in new london.
