The developers are asking for variances in height and number of units (density) allowed for this new development planned on the shores of Lake Ivanhoe in Orlando's antique district. They are asking for a 52% increase in units (276 versus the allowed 181) and 20% increase in allowed height.

At ten stories and 120 feet, this building will be twice as tall as most North Quarter residential developments. The design, scale and bulk of the building are not compatible with the City of Orlando's vision for the Ivanhoe Antiques Row neighborhood or Virginia/Lake Highland Strategic Plan.

We request that the City of Orlando deny the height variance and density bonus for this development to keep it compatible with the surrounding area.
