We are a community organized group working to stop the development of a 3 & 4 story apartment complex on Country Club Road next door to Nelson Elementary School.  We are concerned about the over development of apartments in this area as well as the safety and security of the children that attend Nelson Elementary.  We are area residents and parents of the school children that attend Nelson.  Current traffic congestion and drainage issues plague this area too.  We need city officials to deny the requested zoning variances by the developers so that all of these concerns can be addressed BEFORE additional apartments are built along Country Club Road.
