Build a Dog Pound with an Operating Team for Barangay Pasong Buaya Two

Build a Dog Pound with an Operating Team for Barangay Pasong Buaya Two

The Issue

Stray dogs are a problem to our society because these dogs can cause dog bites that may harm pedestrians and may cause a fatal disease called rabies which can be transmitted to humans. Stray dogs defecate almost everywhere and cases of people being bitten by stray dogs were also reported. Stray dogs are considered to be a major problem to our environment due to their uncontrolled act of excreting waste wherever and whenever. Many reports of accidents also caused by stray dogs because they were roaming around the streets all the time.

We would like the City Veterinarian Office to resolve this problem and take care of these stray dogs around the streets of Imus, Cavite. The actions to be taken are the following:

  • Construct and operate a dog pound near the community with its own operating team.
  • Strictly implement the "Aso mo, tali mo" program.
