There used to be miles and miles of graphitti along 135's Canal Route. I personally remember several band logos among other iconic images, catching my eye everytime my family came to Wichita from Winfield. I'd like to offer space to local schools and other art focused groups to help us once again brighten this popular Wichita feature.

     There are several ideas currently and we'll always welcome more. We could propose several themes and even timelines, as the stretch of the canal is very long. Perhaps the History of Aviation, or a Coleman Tribute, or a Fast Food shoot out to Pizza Hut, White Castle, and Freddy's. I would like to see all these ideas embraced and maybe end up with the longest mural in the country!! 

     As far as cost goes I think it's very minimal. If a group can raise money for materials, and have an idea approved, then I think we should allow it. Sign the petition and let's see what happens!! Thanks for playing along and trying for something unique.
