Fire the officer who killed black veteran having PTSD crisis on July 4
Why this petition matters

Icarus Randolph, 26 year old black man and Iraq war Marine veteran, was murdered by Wichita PD Officer Ryan Snyder on July 4, 2014 in front of his family.
Randolph, like many war veterans, suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder and needed help to get through the holiday. The family requested ComCare assistance to help with Icarus’s mental health on this day, but the family was informed that they would not receive assistance. Unfortunately, the Wichita Police Department answered the call, agitated the sensitive mental health situation and murdered the young black man in front of his family members.
Since then family members report that they encountered the officer following the shooting and Snyder arrogantly rolled down his window and asked the sister of murdered Icarus if she had something to say to him.
It’s past time for City of Wichita to take accountability for the senseless murder of this courageous young black man. Please help the family in making our voices heard and asking the City of Wichita to address the family and community with better solutions to mental health situations and fire Officer Ryan Snyder for the unnecessary killing of Icarus Randolph.
Justice for Icarus. Black Lives Matter. ❤️
