PETITION TO STOP DEVELOPMENT OF LOCAL URBAN FOREST XOTX-TROPICO on NE corner of Willoughby and Fairfax WEST HOLLYWOOD CA

Dear people concerned about the fate of nature in our modern world,

Please sign this urgent petition to stop the “development” and destruction of your local urban forest.

The developers that now own this precious piece of land have given a sudden eviction notice, giving Leon very little time to vacate the premises by October 30th 2019. 

This little corner of green is crucial to maintain the “web of life” that struggles to exist in our urban cities. Butterflies, bees, birds and many more organisms depend on this unique ecosystem continuing to function in the heart of our beloved city.

A mix of rare trees, plants and endangered species at the NE corner of Willoughby and Fairfax our plant nursery “XOTX-TROPICO” must be allowed to continue the important horticulture research conducted for over 30 years at this location. Now more than ever we need to collect seeds, grow and distribute the plants needed to both reverse climate change and to protect biodiversity from extinction.
