I was made aware today of another person being harassed and followed for nearly an hour by an animal control officer in East Vancouver today. This kind of behaviour is not acceptable and is why we need access to more spaces.

Animal Control are also taking me to court because one of their officers allegedly saw me in the park last week with my dog off-leash. I cannot confirm this and I never actually speak to an officer in person.

I am collating accounts of harassment by ACOs and also instances that should have required animal control intervention (e.g. bites, fighting etc) that have not been dealt with yet to present in court.
