We are petitioning to show the need for a bigger better built skateboard park in Tyler, Texas. Tyler needs this to provide a safe place for kids and adults to enjoy the sport they love and with over 9,281,500 and growing in the United States we will be in need of more spaces to skate and create ! Tyler needs more outdoor spaces to enjoy other than soccer, baseball etc. There are a large number of kids and adults who are not in to team sports and want to do their own thing like skateboarding, roller skating and more. We currently have a skateboard park that has deteriorated and become more of a hazard than it's worth skating on and the crime in this area has always been a problem which makes most people not even want to bother going to. The only option for sometime is to travel to cities such as Dallas, Houston and other cities that do provide safe places to skate.
