Thanks to your engagement, last night Councillor Mark Grimes amended his motion, and Toronto City Council voted 20-1 to halt the tree removal until city staff can further study the feasibility of narrowing Dwight Avenue. It's your participation that made this change happen. The city now knows that residents care, and they are taking our concerns more seriously. We will be eagerly awaiting the feasibility study, which will be reported to the Infrastructure and Environment Committee on 2 December.
