Remove SIZE MATTERS Billboard

Remove SIZE MATTERS Billboard
The Issue
As a resident of Murrieta, I find the current Renuance Cosmetic Surgery Center billboard placed by the I-15S freeway to be offensive to myself, my friends, my family, and my community. I respect and understand that a business needs to advertise, however, when you choose a common location, unavoidable by many families and women, you have removed our right to not look at it. The majority of us are forced to drive by your ad, some of us who have younger daughters and siblings who will read this sign. By forcing us to view your advertising, you have shown a lack of respect to the citizens of this city who are not part of your target audience.
We ask that this billboard be taken down from our main highway and we urge Renuance Cosmetic Surgery Center to rethink their forms of advertisement. We, as a community, should have the right to live in a city without having to be reminded that someone's breast size isn't good enough. This billboard is demeaning, objectifying, and inappropriate as it attacks women's bodies and promotes low self esteem. I do not need a billboard to compare my breasts to coffee cups and tell me that their proportional sizes matter.
Here's a link for an identical sign that got taken down due to community feedback: http://www.mlive.com/business/jackson-lansing/index.ssf/2014/04/plastic_surgery_practice_takes.html
