City officials in Taylor Texas have opted to not send any animals found within the city limits to the Williamson County Animal Shelter. City officials instead rely on the Taylor Animal Shelter to handle the cities animal population.

Currently Taylor city officials provide no funding to solely support the day to day operation of the Taylor Animal Shelter, all work is performed by volunteers and all goods are donated by the community.

Through this petition, we aim to change the current way the animal shelter is managed.

We want our Taylor city officials to allocate proper funds to support the animal shelter and provide better care for the animals at the shelter.
