Recently the city of St. Augustine Beach has put up for debate the allowance of food trucks on commercially owned property here in St Augustine. This would allow for a heavily regulated industry that provides reasonably priced gourmet food to both residents and visitors. This is a great step for St. Augustine in catching up with the food truck revolution that is sweeping across the country and becoming a daily part of many peoples lives. The major opponent(s) say that visitors and residents do not want food trucks on the beach and will not receive any type of benefit from allowing high quality/low cost food in the city of St. Augustine Beach. This petition will be used to show that both visitors and residents are in favor of food trucks and the affordable high quality meals they provide.
