Please help keep high rise buildings out of Old Town area as being proposed along Airport Boulevard from Lux to Hillside. We advocated to prevent further infiltration of high rise buildings and continue to see the designation on ShapeSSF diagrams.

Please consider the impacts high rise buildings have brought and would continue to have on Old Town residents with loss of privacy, loss of natural sunlight, disturbance of historical value that is unique to Old Town amongst other concerns.

THE HEIGHT BY ITSELF IS A CONCERN. 

This footprint represents the community's view of our future, not only for the next 20 years as now being proposed. The land uses through this General Plan review would identify the types of developments that may be allowed in the future through zoning laws. High rise buildings to meet biotech housing needs is not what Old Town has envisioned. We envision a full array of educational and recreational programs and services for our community that had no choice in welcoming of the biotech industry of the world. It's time to serve the community that has been the most affected from this transition from industrial to biotech.

Help by advocating for land uses that may provide services and a flourishing community.
