This is a final opportunity for comments on land uses that will set policies concerning education, parks, health, transportation, public services, housing, climate change, etc. before the scheduled Council meeting on November 18, 6 pm.

Please take this opportunity to address issues important for you and your families. Some issues that need attention and that we can all benefit as SSF residents in our respective communities, are a lack of services and programs for youth, in particular at-risk youth and those living in underserved areas of SSF. Educators may be able to focus on education if programs and services were available on home grounds so that issues that hinder education won't be inherited by teachers. As a society, we can all benefit investing in youth and as a parent, our children deserve quality education and equitable and accessible services in our home neighborhoods. The other issues are health, social services, educational opportunities through art/music programs, work experiences, etc. 

Another equally important issue, is to keep Medium Density out of Old Town as proposed on Airport Blvd. This issue was addressed in Community workshops and this would further impact Old Town in preserving its historical value and will bring additional traffic in areas that are already congested. In emergency situations, motorists are not able to make u-turns nor have access to streets for right-turns.
