SHUT DOWN SUGAR'S FOR GOOD!!!

The Issue

Help close Sugar's down for good!!! Prostitution, drugs and violence is all that occurs at this place. Help make our community a better place.

Help teach our daughter's to have respect for their body and encourage education and morals rather than them be a sex object.

Please help fight to make San Antonio a better place. Below please see the latest news regarding the incidents that have occurred at Sugar's.

Sugar's Gentleman's Night Club today is facing possibly not having its liquor license renewed.

This,
after the San Antonio Police Department filed a protest against Sugar's license
renewal application.

Interim
Chief of Police Anthony Trevino said, "There's a well documented history
that we presented TABC with, to let them be aware of the past incidents that
have occurred at that location, and so we're hoping that process will be
expedited as quickly as possible."

On
Labor Day of this year, an incident that allegedly started at the club and left
two people dead after a chase in which the vehicle they were traveling
crashed, made Trevino take notice of the club once again.

Back in
2011, his predecessor, William McManus, filed a similar protest against the
club to try and prevent it from getting its license renewed.

While the city waited for TABC’s legal
department to take action – a shooting took place at Sugar’s in 2013 that
injured three people.

 Then
this past January, Trevino says, he was urged by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage
Commission's legal counsel to drop the 2011 protest.  According to a TABC
memo, the club would take a $9000 dollar fine for the 2013 shooting and that
would allow them to get their license renewed.

Trevino
said, "They felt that the fine was going to be paid at that point in time,
was probably the best that they were going to be able to get out of the
process."

Today
one of the owners of the corporation that owns Sugar’s told Fox San Antonio that
"no firearms were ever inside Sugar's" during the most recent
incident on Labor Day 2015.

A
spokesperson for TABC tells us they received the police department's protest
and will begin their investigation into the latest incidents at the club.
TABC will then decide whether to join in the protest against Sugar's getting
their liquor license renewed.
