Shutting down these two stations places the citizens of NE Salem and West Salem at undue risk. This can and will cause undue loss of life and property by stretching the resources of Salem Fire Department thin and increasing response times.

Both the people of Salem and the Salem Fire Department will be adversly effected by this. Because the resources will be stretched so thin, the people of Salem will not have their emergency responders there when they need them and the personnel of Salem Fire Department are at an increased risk of injury and death by not being able to count on their own to be there when they need them.

This is incredibly wrong and the people of Salem, or for that matter anyone who knows somebody who lives or works or even drives through Salem should not stand for it.
