Mayor Lovely A. Warren of Rochester, NY is urging Mayors and citizens of cities across the United States to show support and understand that gun violence plagues each of our cities. All cities share the common goal to make our neighborhoods safe for all of our citizens.

"100 Cities to Reduce Gun Violence" is a petition to encourage mayors from all across the United States to sign and agree to form safer neighborhoods and recognize June as national Gun Violence Awareness Month ("GVAM").

Gun violence victimizes families, public safety officers, and neighborhoods.This Initiative is a first step in taking back our communities. Together, we will make our cities safer and bring national recognition to gun violence in our nation.
