Please note that it is not required that you donate money to Change.Org for this petition.  Such donations are to enable Change.Org to promote the petition on our behalf.  This is not necessary.  What we need is to simply get as many signatures and comments from residents of 11211 Yonge Street as possible.  If anyone is hesitant about signing because of the automatic requests for donations they see on the Change.Org site, please reassure them that no money is required for the petition.

Residents of 11211 Yonge Street who have not yet signed may not be aware of the implications the new MSF development will have on their living conditions.  The idea of jamming a monster building into an existing small parking lot should be of concern to all residents.  Wind issues will increase danger for seniors.  Blocking of natural light will affect thermal conditions in all three buildings.  Privacy will be considerably reduced.  Doubling the use of the existing parking garage entrance will have safety implications and increase traffic and congestion in the area.  All residents should be strongly motivated to sign.

The petition details, signatures, and comments will be provided to the City of Richmond Hill multiple times so as to ensure that the objection is noted on the public record and to update the City as more signatures are collected.  The seniors of Mon Sheong Court are not alone.  We are in this together.
