TEAR DOWN THE STANDS AND BUILD A WONDERFUL CITY PARK AROUND THE OLD INTACT FIELD.

Give it Heritage Status once completed.

Although I am very excited for the new stadium it seems a shame to say goodbye to Taylor Field (Old Mosaic) which has been the site of the Roughriders since 1921, with the first permanent grandstand having stood since 1936. This makes the site nearly as old as Wrigley Field or Fenway Park. 

We should keep the field itself where it is as a monument to the old stadium.

I believe the current plan is too build some low income housing (which I support) in the Taylor Field area but I propose that we do low income housing elsewhere in the city and commemorate the site by leaving the field as is, tear down the stands and build a wonderful city park around the old intact field.  

Its historical ground some people have even been cremated on that field.

In addition I would suggest removing the old practice field (possibly for more parking?) and use old Taylor Field for fan festivities prior to Roughrider games. Would be a little bit of a hike but I think we could all stand to burn the calories.
