Raymore Police Department should be ashamed of the way they treat their employees. Here is an article showing that Officer Massa took his K9 to the department with him when he went to work there a year ago. However, because he left the department they went to his home and took the dog from him stating there is a policy that admittedly went into effect in April this year. Massa never signed that policy stating the dog would be theirs if he were to leave.
Fox 4 did a story on it and when asked about the signed copy of the policy from Officer Massa the city couldn't produce it. I will add the video from Fox 4 when it is posted. The City of Raymore needs to know it isn't ok to treat people this way. If they want the money for medical bills they can provide proof of the bills they paid and we will set up a Gofundme page to get that money.
