The City of Rancho Palos Verdes has had a peafowl population for the last century. They are one of the beautiful elements that make our lovely peninsula so majestic. A combination of human causes, coyotes and an aggressive “Peafowl Management Plan” implemented by the City have caused their numbers to decline greatly over the last several years. Please join us in this petition to lobby the City of Rancho Palos Verdes to stop spending our tax dollars to trap and relocate these birds. If they continue the trapping, the birds will be eradicated in the very near future.
