Congratulations, Chief! An update from the man himself!

Copied from Chief’s Facebook post. Also please know there is now no need to go to tomorrow’s town council meeting as the city has heard everyone loud and clear! We are Prosper, we are ONE! 

I want to sincerely thank each of you for the support the past several days. It has been very humbling. We are ready to put this behind us and get to work on the many things we have yet to accomplish with our rapidly growing community. I do want each of you to know, I am good and made this decision after a very productive meeting this morning. Again, most of this caught our Mayor and Council off-guard. They have always been supportive, and they do a difficult job as volunteers, and I hope you appreciate them as much as I do. I also had to do what I thought was the right thing to do. I will tell each of you that I am very passionate and lead with my heart. That’s a blessing and curse at times but like it or not I will always follow my heart and do my best to do the right things. This is the right thing in my opinion for all of us. The vital thing is we have worked this out internally and I plan on staying for years to come and I thank you for your love & support to me and my family. Please help me by putting this in our rearview mirror for the good of the Town, myself, and my family!
