No dog deserves to live on a chain. Today in our community there are dogs left on chains, isolated in backyards on tethers as short as a couple of feet. These innocent dogs are forced to endure the elements, attacks by other animals and perhaps worst of all, solitary confinement.  They're lonely, they're frustrated and many of them are losing their minds. Statistics show that chained dogs are more likely to bite and become aggressive. It's not their fault. We must eliminate the tethering of dogs at home.
