Save Our Acres
Aug 31, 2022

Things are heating up a bit with the Reflections In The Acres Project and we need your help.

Early last week we learned that the Developer was pushing forward with the City of Plantation with their efforts to have the city vacate (basiclly give away) a portion of NW 2nd St to them.  So this past  thursday Plantation Acres Homeowners Association (PAHA ) went to The Plantation Acres Improvment District (PAID) meeting to go on record as requesting that PAHA be advised if the city approaches PAID about this topic or anything else related to Reflections In The Acres Project.  At that meeting it was learned that the City had already started discussions with David Fradley , PAIDS engineer( we also believe Fradley is also the Engineer for the Developer on this project), and that he was proposing putting the topic on the September PAID agenda.  The PAID Commissioners appeared to be totally unaware of this information and Fradley did not elaborate any further.

At this point we do not know if the original plan of 37-42 homes on property zoned for only 11-12 homes is back in play, if the proposed 4 houses on NW 4th st will be built or exactly what is going on with this project.

We would like your participation tonight!

Tonight PAHA is putting a table at the Food Truck Event at Volunteer Park from 5-9pm, and it would be great if you could take a few minutes to stop by.  There may be some local elected officials showing up just to gauge what is going on , and it would be great to have a show of force to let folks know of our concerns.

Hope to see you out there!

Thanks
