Pittsburgh Pride was created by the queer community in Pittsburgh. No one has a right to own this celebration of our community and us coming together to organize against our oppression.

We, the queer community of Pittsburgh, oppose the Delta foundation's attempt to steal Pittsburgh Pride from us through this patent. The Delta foundation promised to dissolve in response to our communities protest of their corruption. Members of this organization used Pittsburgh Pride/ Pittsburgh Pride fest to embezzle hundreds of thousands of dollars meant for the queer community of Pittsburgh.

If the Delta Foundation were given the patent to Pittsburgh Pride, it would do significant harm to our community. The following signatures represent those who oppose the Delta Foundation's attempt to patent pride and demand that Pittsburgh Pride permanently reside in the hands of our community.
