Let's Measure 100' of right of way from existing homes

This is what a 100' right of way looks like next to existing homes. There is SIXTEEN feet between this house and the right of way with vehicles flying by every 17 SECONDS constantly, day and night. A semi less than every 2 minutes Jake breaking next to a bedroom window. And still safety and noise mitigations have NOT been considered, 14 months into this project. Should MnDOT standards be followed, to lower highway noise to below the level hearing loss occurs, that same bedroom window will now face a wall taller than the house just 16 feet away blocking all sunlight into this house!

City Council Members and County Commissioners, we need to do better! This is not acceptable! How do we not know this this is a lose/lose situation for your residents?! Our choices are deafness, or darkness, or both! 

Note: The left most dot to the middle dot measures the distance between the house and the western edge of the right of way. The middle dot to the right dot measures the 100' right of way, not accounting for any easements on the eastern side.
