Gooood morning everyone! Thank you all so much for helping this petition get to 1500+ signatures. I think the recent Oshawa This Week newspaper helped bring a lot of attention to this, I would like to give a special thank you to Jennifer O'Meara for helping put that together. I want to address something as well, I may not be posting many updates on Social Media or even this petition, but I am still doing a lot of work behind the scenes day in and day out to raise awareness for what we are trying to do as a community. We are 1 year deep in our battle to get our Indoor Skatepark, and we will continue to push it until the community gets what it deserves. On a side note, I am currently talking with Global News Durham, and they will be doing a special on this whole movement. After that, I plan on continuing to reach out to News stations and continuing to get as many people hearing about this as possible. There has been so much support with this petition, and it really shows 1 thing; THE COMMUNITY IS DEEP! We are all standing together and slowly we are getting our voices heard. 4 Newspapers/Online articles, now the news, who knows what is next. Thank you all so much, as always, keep on sharing the crap out of this petition and sign it as many times as possible to run these numbers up. The more the merrier.
