Sign the petition if you care about how council decides how to spend our rates.

City of Onkaparinga Council decided to spend up to $300k of our money in a supreme court action against a development at Seaford Meadows.  The council decided this in confidence with no public engagement.

We ask  the council to rescind the motion and at the very least ask it's community how we want our rates spent 

We ask Council to inform the public exactly how they intend to fund the legal fees.  It is in the public interest that we know where our rates are going.

We ask the Council  to practice open and transparent decision making and release the motion in full, including who moved and seconded it, there is no reason why that information should remain in confidence.
