Farnam Street in Omaha, Nebraska is a two lane roadway that passes through the Dundee neighborhood from Saddle Creek Road to Dodge Street.  This section of Farnam “converts” to a one way road from 7 am to 9 am and again from 4pm to 6pm each day (not on weekends). 

Based on past, upcoming, proposed, and undetermined development in and around UNMC and Saddle Creek Road, the traffic flows on Farnam Street are likely to be changed or be altered.  Traffic is not safe on Farnam Street and not appropriate for a residential neighborhood. 

We the undersigned request that the City of Omaha address the following changes to Farnam Street:

1. Elimination of the “convertible” one way roadway on Farnam Street making it 2-way 24/7

2. Safety in and around the roadway as further development occurs to the East
