February 8th 2016 changed my life entirely. That morning I was informed that my 18 year old son had a tragic accident less then one mile from our home. The accident occurred on Roberson Road going Eastbound. Many nights prior to Jonathan's accident I have driven on that road and noticed how dark and unsafe it was to drive on it at night.  After the heartbreaking news of my sons death I realized how dangerous the road truly was and I felt I had to try to make a difference. It was then in May a few months later, that I heard of yet another accident directly across the street from my sons crash site. Fortunately it was not fatal but yet another horrible incident on that road. It proved the point that there needs to be street lights or another kind of illumination for drivers to see clearly.  I am starting a petition to attempt to get street lights to make that road safer for our community.
