But up till now we were told all work performed was Phase 1 construction of Chelsea Gardens, by Mayor Hinchey, the City Manager- John Bilda (CG board), the City Council and Hugh Schnip? WHO IS CONVEYING THE FALSE INFORMATION MR. DAVIS YOU OR EVERYONE ELSE? (Note: Save Mohegan Park supporters discovered the expired permit, even though media outlets like the New London Day try to take credit for it). Mr. Davis by your explanation and defense, you contend the City Council, the Mayor and Chelsea Gardens were not telling the truth to the people of Norwich for all those months. You say the Site Plan Permit expired months ago, yet you allowed the City to further this erroneous claim that it was still valid. Is the City trying to suppress the will of the constituents by peddling fabrications for Chelsea Gardens? How many times have we been told that "ALL PERMITTING AND SITE PLANS FOR CHELSEA GARDENS WERE IN PLACE YEARS AGO, and that if we wanted to contest this matter we should have done it then." Are these, Lies Lies and MORE LIES?!? Why would you and City's Legal Counsel allow the Aldermen and Mayor to convey such verifiable mis-information? After all it is yours and Brown Jacobson's responsibility to correct false information with regard to planning activities for the City in the case of Chelsea Gardens, from reaching the voters and the press, or did no one bother speaking with City legal council before making such spurious statements? I don't know about anyone else, but I do not like being lied to by the people I elected, or by the officials hired by the people I elected. The City's Whack-a-Mole defense to this Atrocity Project is getting tiresome and embarrassing. Who will be left to twist in the wind? I hope it is all of you! Several trailer loads of timber were removed from the Park yesterday, their heavy dozers and earth moving equipment still wreaks havoc on our land and our resources, without a care in the world for permits or proper environmental protocols in place. This wanton destruction of our land will be answered for, in court and at the polls. Question to the City Council: I do not have a permit or site plan to Harvest Timber in Mohegan park either, can I go over to the pavilion and start chopping down trees?
