Save Norwalk's Historic Downtown

The Issue

Norwalk's historic downtown was redeveloped in 1955 after a devastating flood. The municipal parking lots were created to support local businesses and residents and were strategically located to support an active and vibrant downtown. The remaining historic buildings do not have on-site parking, and can only thrive when businesses that occupy them thrive. The City of Norwalk is evaluating selling the Main/High Street municipal parking lot to a private developer to build apartments and a private garage. The businesses surrounding the lot and the public park will lose parking that they depend on. Please sign our petition and say NO to selling or giving away the Main High Street lot.
